So work has been extremely stressful lately....(I work a 24hr Animal Hospital for anyone who doesn't know) So I'm sorry if I have like dropped of the map. My supervisor scheduled me to work for ten days in a row at least 8hrs a day....usually more because we have been so busy. 8hrs of running around like squirrel on a caffeine buzz from hell when you are exhausted already....well lets just say I'm ready to coma for like a week. So I'll try to actually kind of be around this coming weekend because I will finally be off. Okay, sry enough complaining, I just feel bad for not being around.

The good news in all of this is I'm being promoted to a vet assistant...it's basically the same stuff I have been doing (walks, feeds, giving meds, taking rads, helping anesthetize animals, among other thing...) except now I get to draw blood, run blood work and get payed more . I still have to go through some training before I am legitimately promoted...but at least it is in the process.

If I ever stop working, I would like to finish some of the pictures I have started. One that I am really eager to finish is another DeiSaku pic, but I am having issues...like references. I mean how do you find a reference of someone swinging around a tree?! Ahem, anyway if anyone finds one let me know! oh well, I'll probably just try to wing it...or maybe I'll post it as a WIP and see if anyone has any sugestions???

So it is finally the end of the semester, which I am rejoicing....but of course with the end of the semester also comes finals. Of course my two hardest finals are back to back on the same day! How does that kind of thing happen?? I mean organic chemistry(which is the devil's spawn) and then animal nutrition(<---may sound not that bad but do not be fooled!!!)! Ack! Though I did get the wonderful news that I could potentially get a little above a fifty percent on my o-chem final and still scrap by with a pass (which is a C by the way or a 73%), but I would rather not tempt fate. (Anyone thinking that they would die if they got a fifty percent on their final?....well with this class and this teacher fifty percent would be like getting a B in any another class...yeah it is bad.) Just to give you an idea of how bad, second test we took, over 3/4 of the class ended up with grade percentages in the SINGLE DIGITS! And why you ask would I take a class like that with a teacher like that...well it is required for my major which is Pre-veterinary medicine and he just happens to be the only teacher who teaches the class... His only redeeming quality is that he watches Naruto and Bleach with his children!!! The stress is definitely starting to pile on.

I honestly don't know how I would make it through finals without my wonderful roommate and best friend. Who would have thought that people could become the best of friends in less than 4 months She's great, and I think I would go crazy if I didn't have her around to laugh with and crack jokes with when everything else sucks and it feels like I am failing at everything I do. If nothing else we keep each other entertained by the stupid things we do/say... By the way her art is super awesome here on deviantart check out almightyshadowchan. *cough*cough* I'm not shamelessly advertising I swear!!! *cough*cough*

Anyway, on to a less depressing subject, even with the finals drawing nearer by the second, I have found myself drawing more and so hopefully once i get home for Christmas break I will actually be able to post more deviations. Plus once I get home I'm hoping to actually find time to paint (of course outside of my job that I will be working 40+ hours a week)! It has been way too long since I have been able to actually sit down and work on a long term art project like a painting (which always takes me a while). I might even be tempted to pull out my oil pastels which I'm pretty sure haven't been touched since like last year...and well it is almost next year... so it has been a while. Plus, I have finally found a way to transfer some of my drawings onto a canvas much more easily that what I have been trying to do. So there is one painting that I know I will be trying to get done over break...I've been waiting to do it for almost four months now but I haven't had the guts to try and transfer my sketch onto a canvas.

I am also working on a new project which I don't know if I will ever finish, but I am trying to color my horse sketch with GIMP. I have finished the eye (which took me like five hours to finally be satisfied with it...) but I have now run into the problem that I have no good way to make hair in the GIMP program. By the way if anyone knows a good way and is willing to share I would be super excited. But until I figure it out, I probably won't be posting it anytime soon. I give props to anyone who does digital art without photoshop(probably with it too...just have never used it so I don't know what it is like), but it is definitely not as easy as it looks. Either that or I'm doing everything the hard way...which is entirely possible.

Now that I got home I was actually able to post some of my stuff finally, which I can thank my wonderful roommate Almightyshadowchan for bugging me to get a deviantart in the first place(by the way check her deviant out she is really good!).
Anyways thanks to anyone who has commented or favorited, ect. I also willingly accept constructive criticism...but please make it constructive. I have a hard time trying to figure out is wrong with the picture when people just post that it sucks or that it is stupid...sry I haven't developed my mind reading skills that well yet.
Okay...well um that's about it now...if you don't see me for a while it's okay, I'm just drowning in exams and projects. I promise to at least post more deviations during Christmas break.
